Ibanda University is our academic community collaborator. Established in 2013, the University offers Masters Programs, Postgraduate Diplomas, Bachelors Diploma and Short Courses. Their mission is to produce skilled, intelligent, hardworking and morally upright citizens endowed with rigorous academic and cultural knowledge to serve humanity, nature and God. Marianne Foundation works with Ibanda University to facilitate educational pursuits to the surrounding communities.
Global Development Group (GDG) is a Non Government Organisation [NGO] based out of Australia carrying out humanitarian projects with approved partners and providing aid to relieve poverty. GDG is providing 50,000 AUD to assist in the continuation and expansion of Marianne Foundation programming. Their support will help Marianne Foundation skill 100 out-of-school girls, increase knowledge and access to menstrual health education and construct a health center in Kabujogera in rural Uganda.
Light My Fire is a non governmental organization that funds grassroots health, education and training projects. With funding from Light My Fire, we have trained young girls in Rwamwanja Refugee Settlement to make their own pads. A total of 2,000 pads have been made and distributed it the Rwamwanja Refugee Settlement. Additionally, Marianne Foundation, with the help of Light My Fire, has trained 10 girls sewing.
