Justus holds a Diploma and Bachelors in Accounting from Makerere University Business School. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences from Ibanda University.
Justus has previously worked in Community Volunteer Initiative for Development (COVOID) and Elizabeth Glazer Pediatric Aids Foundation as project accountant for 7 and 3 years respectively. He then worked as Project Manager under Hearts and Hope for Uganda, he then worked as the Projects Manager at The Lutheran Church of Uganda before retiring to focus on his dream to transform the world through women empowerment.
He is now the Executive Director and Founder of Marianne Foundation for Youth Development.
Mathias holds a Bachelor's Degree of Social Sciences in Sociology and Anthropology from Ibanda University.
He has previously worked with Kamwenge District Local Government as health support staff attached to Rukunyu Hospital in the maternity ward helping MCH staff. He has also worked with Innovate for Poverty Action on Uganda's project to improve the livelihood of the refugees in Rwamwanja Refugee Settlement and was a Kinyarwanda /Kinyabwisha language specialist.
After COVID-19, he received a four month short term contract as a Customer Service Advisor at MTN-Uganda, one of the leading telecommunication companies in Uganda. He was hired to respond to queries major in languages of 4Rs, English, Kinyarwanda and Kinyabwisha.
Mathias is currently working with Marianne Foundation for Youth Development as a field officer in charge of girls recruited from Rwamwanja Refugee Settlement to ensure they are able to gain skills at our skills center. He also manages much of our data collection processes and community mobilization.
Godwin holds a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology from Mbarara University of Science and Technology.
He is skilled in graphic designing, UI/UX designing, hardware repair, website designing, streaming, and all things IT consultancy. At Marianne Foundation for Youth Development, Godwin is responsible for managing all social media platforms, managing our website and other information systems and is the primary instructor for all computer related classes for both our visiting interns and for our girls at the skills center.
Clare holds a Master's in Public Health from Boston University School of Public Health with concentrations in Global Health Program Design, Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) and Maternal and Child Health.
Clare has worked with multiple NGOs in Uganda and has been traveling here since she was 15 years old, including Uganda Village Project as a public health intern. Clare has continuously worked on HIV/AIDS research in South Africa and was on the Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Team in the Global Health Bureau at USAID. Clare specializes in designing and implementing thorough process and impact evaluations and has a passion for maternal, child and sexual and reproductive health.
Currently, Clare and Carly provide technical public health and program design, monitoring and evaluation support to MFYD.
Carly holds a Master's in Public Health from Boston University School of Public Health with concentrations in Program Management and Global Health.
Carly has worked in governmental public health for over five years. Most recently, she served as an epidemiologist consultant for a State Health Department in the US on the COVID-19 team. Carly has also worked with multiple NGOs globally to help improve their organizational structures. Carly specializes in developing qualitative and quantitative data collection techniques, qualitative data analysis, as well as the development and implementation of organization management tools. She has a passion for health communications and assisting in capacity building across different cultures.
Currently, Clare and Carly provide technical public health and program design, monitoring and evaluation support to MFYD.
